#1 The Fairmont Waterfront

Join the SketchUp team and the majority of our attendees by staying at the classic and contemporary Fairmont Waterfront. This warm and inviting hotel features sweeping views of downtown Vancouver, a lovely garden pool, a stylish restaurant featuring urban artisan food, and an on-site bee colony! Rooms are spacious and comfortable with natural light and modern amenities. The best part is that the location is perfect! You’ll be across the street from the Convention Centre.

#2 Pan Pacific Vancouver

Looking for more of a lively vibe? This hotel is worth admiring for its intriguing design that blends three buildings into one. Each level of the hotel features something different, so you can truly experience a little bit of everything. However, the true selling point of this hotel is the pool! We highly recommend watching the sunrise in the outdoor heated pool...absolutely beautiful!  If it’s good enough for the Rolling Stones to stay at, it’s good enough for our Basecampers! This hotel is a one-minute walk from the Convention Centre and another top location for conference attendees.

#3 Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront

Another popular pick that is less pricey than the other hotel options is the Pinnacle, which has spacious rooms that feature stunning mountain and marina views. The Pinnacle is just a 4-minute walk to the Vancouver Convention Centre — and a 5-minute walk to waterfront dining at the famous Harbour Green Park. Get some exercise and take in the Vancouver scene with complimentary bikes! Each guest gets access to free Wi-Fi and a daily happy hour from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

#4 Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Newly renovated in 2018, this historic Art Deco hotel is sure to provide you with the comforts of an intimate boutique hotel, but with the luxury of a first-class brand. Rooms feature comfortable beds, modern amenities, and photo-worthy views of gargoyles and skyscrapers. When you’re ready for exceptional cuisine and great cocktails, visit 1930s inspired Notch8 Restaurant and Bar. This hotel is a foody and historic junky’s dream (the breakfast buffet is incredible)! A quick 10-minute walk to the Convention Centre means you’ll get to stretch your legs before sitting down in class.
